Paper Son Coffee is a classic and Asian American inspired coffee shop in San Francisco, with locations in Chinatown and Downtown. We serve locally roasted coffee, create approachable beverages for all coffee enthusiasts, and incorporate Asian flavors in our drinks.

Features Chinese origin coffee and slow bar service inside Soon and Soon Souvenir Shop.

Muni bus lines 30 Stockton, 45 Union, and 8 Bayshore serve Chinatown, and the California St cable car stops right on Grant Ave. Montgomery St BART/Muni is about a 10-minute walk. Parking is recommended at Portsmouth Square Garage.

## Our Story

At Paper Son Coffee we believe that what makes "good coffee" is deeply personal.

Our core principles:
1) Serve locally roasted coffee. The Bay is home to so many good roasters and we are proud to showcase our local scene.
2) Create approachable beverages across the coffee enthusiast spectrum.
3) Incorporate Asian flavors in our drinks.

The name "Paper Son" is an homage to how our founder's family (and so many others in San Francisco) immigrated to the US — a reminder there are many facets to the Asian American experience. Historically the paper son relationship encapsulated a business transaction that morphed into a genuine (familial) connection. We approach interacting with the community in the same way — helping other small businesses succeed and making our customers feel welcomed.
