• What do we think about coffee?

  At Paper Son Coffee we believe that good coffee can take many forms. We serve the best locally roasted coffee we can find, and aim to nail the classics while also offering customers adventurous new flavor profiles.

  Why "Paper Son"?

  The name of the coffee shop is an homage to how our founder's family (and so many others in San Francisco) immigrated to the US - a reminder there are many facets to the Asian American experience.

  
  

  Why is it relevant to a coffee shop? Historically the paper son relationship encapsulated a business transaction that morphed into a genuine (familial) connection. We want to approach interacting with the community in the same way. Even through you're "just" buying or selling coffee, you end up fostering real relationships along the way.
